নতুন ধরনের এই পলিমার দিয়ে তৈরি কোন বস্তু ভেঙ্গে গেলে দুই প্রান্ত একসঙ্গে ধরলেই তা আবার জোড়া লেগে যাবে। প্রয়োজন হবে না কোন ধরনের আঠার। হাইড্রোজেন বন্ড এর একটি বিশেষ প্রক্রিয়া যাতে হাইড্রোজেন অণুসমূহ অন্য অক্সিজেন বা নাইট্রোজেন এর মত অনুসমুহের সাথে আকর্ষণের মাধ্যমে এই পলিমার তৈরি করা সম্ভব হয়েছে। নতুন এই পলিমারটি অন্যান্য যেকোনো মজবুত প্লাস্টিক এর মতই শক্তিশালী হবে। “সুপরা বি” নামের এই পলিমার গাড়ির উইন্ডশিল্ড, ল্যাপটপ এর মত যেকোনো ব্যবহার্য বস্তুতে ব্যবহার করা যাবে। যা করে তুলবে যেকোনো জিনিসকে আরও টেকসই ও যুগোপযোগী।
