ডিজিটাল ক্যামেরা || digital camera

কয়েক বছর আগেও ক্যামেরায় ছবি উঠানোর জন্যে ক্যামেরার মধ্যে আমরা এক ধরনের ফিল্ম ব্যবহার করতাম । এইগুলোকে এনালগ ক্যামেরা বলা হয় । কিন্তু ডিজিটাল ক্যামেরায় কোনো ফিল্ম ব্যবহার করা হয় না ।এই জন্যে ডিজিটাল ক্যামেরাকে ফিল্মলেস ক্যামেরাও বলা হয় ।
ডিজিটাল ক্যামেরায় এক ধরনের অপটিক্যাল সেন্সর ব্যবহার করা হয় । অপটিক্যাল সেন্সর অনেকগুলো ক্ষুদ্র ক্ষুদ্র আলোক-সংবেদনশীল ডায়োড  (ফটোসাইট) দিয়ে তৈরি। এই অপটিক্যাল সেন্সরের কাজ হল আমরা যেই বস্তুটির ছবি তুলব সেই বস্তু থেকে আসা আলোকে ইলেক্ট্রনিক চার্জে  রূপান্তরিত করা ।


বেশিরভাগ ডিজিটাল ক্যামেরায় ইমেজ সেন্সর হিসেবে  CCD(Charge Couple Device)  ব্যবহার করা হয়। আবার কিছু কিছু ক্যামেরায় ইমেজ সেন্সর হিসেবে  CMOS (Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor)  টেকনোলজি ব্যবহার করা হয়।  CCD এবং CMOS এর ইমেজ সেন্সর পদ্বতি সম্পূর্ন ভিন্ন ।A few years ago, the kind of film in the camera, picture camera used for withdrawal.
