সম্প্রতি গুগলের জনপ্রিয় নেস্ট ক্যাম স্মার্ট ক্যামেরার বিরুদ্ধেই এসব অভিযোগ উঠছে। গুগলের মালিকানাধীন নেস্ট ল্যাবসের তৈরি স্বয়ংক্রিয় মোশন এবং অডিও সেন্সর সুবিধার ক্যামেরাটি অ্যাপের সাহায্যে ব্যবহারকারীদের মোবাইলে সতর্কবার্তাও পাঠিয়ে থাকে। কিন্তু ঘরের নিরাপত্তার কাজে ব্যবহৃত ক্যামেরাটির বিরুদ্ধেই অভিযোগ হচ্ছে যে, বন্ধ করার পরও চালু থাকে এই ক্যামেরা।
